Check-in Instructions


**CUT OFF TIME FOR CHECK IN IS 15 MINUTES PRIOR TO DEPARTURE**
We pick up from two terminals. Please note: the departure time shown is from the Airport not from a specific terminal. Passengers must have completed the check in process at least 15 minutes prior to departure in order to secure their seat. Passengers checking in within 15 minutes of departure risk being moved to the next available departure.

Terminal 1: Please report to our NEW Robert Q check in counter at our Ground Transportation Desk, located on Ground Level, one level below the arrivals level, at Post P.


Terminal 3: Please report to the Out of Town Services desk, inside to the right of door “C” on the arrivals level.

**CUT OFF TIME FOR CHECK IN IS 15 MINUTES PRIOR TO DEPARTURE**

Please note - when crossing into Canada, due to COVID-19 Canada Customs currently requires the following:
1. Each passenger over the age of 5 years, must provide a valid pre-entry COVID-19 negative molecular test result, within 72 hours of the passenger’s entry into Canada or proof of a previous positive test result taken between 11 and 180 days (the result must be from an accepted type of molecular test) before entering Canada.
Accepted types of molecular tests:
  • PCR - Polymerase chain reaction

  • Nucleic acid test (NAT) or Nucleic acid amplification test (NAATs)

  • Other accepted types of tests available on travel.gc.ca/travel-covid/travel-restrictions

2. Approved vaccines based on the World Health Organization guidelines - mixed doses are accepted:

• Moderna• Pfizer/BioNTech
• Janssen/Johnson & Johnson• AstraZeneca (COVISHIELD)
• Bharat Biotech• Sinovac
• Sinopharm 

3. ArriveCAN app or online https://arrivecan.cbsa-asfc.cloud-nuage.canada.ca/welcome required to be completed and submitted prior to the passenger’s land border crossing. Accessible up to 72 hours before travel. Note: the border crossing preference will be the Detroit-Windsor Tunnel.

After you’ve arrived in Detroit and COLLECTED YOUR LUGGAGE you must call 1-866-850-7874 to complete the check in process. You may reach us from any Visitor Information Center Kiosk located in baggage claim or ground transportation in both terminals by following the prompts listed under transportation. Locate Robert Q Airbus, pick up the phone receiver and press the Check In button to initialize the call. Once completed
McNamara Terminal
...walk from the luggage area to the elevator or escalator and go up to the 2nd floor, exit the elevator or escalator and walk across the pedestrian walkway bridge. When you get to the other side you will take the elevator or escalator down to the ground transportation area, turn left on the ground level near the sign “Canadian Scheduled Shuttles". Watch for your driver 30 minutes prior to your scheduled departure and when you see them approaching the terminal make your way to the Robert Q vehicle with your luggage.
North Terminal
…walk from the luggage area to the elevator directly across from the information desk, and, go up to the 4th floor where you will walk across the walkway bridge. As soon as you get to the other side take the elevator down to the ground level, exit the elevator, go left. Have a seat inside the terminal in the glass sheltered area. Your driver will park and come inside to collect you.


Fully vaccinated foreign nationals (including Canadian citizens) may be allowed entry to the United States for discretionary travel beginning November 8th, 2021.
For all eligible travellers, the following will be required and will be reviewed by the Robert Q Airbus driver prior to boarding:
When crossing into the United States, due to COVID-19, U.S. Customs and Border Protection currently requires the following:

Each fully vaccinated foreign national must provide proof of vaccination status, by QR code or through printed paper copies. Failure to provide proof would have you denied boarding the airbus.

Please note: Travellers crossing into the United States will not be required to present a pre-entry COVID-19 molecular test. It is advised to check with your airline to determine if a COVID-19 test is required for your flight.

After arriving in London and you have COLLECTED YOUR LUGGAGE please remain on the Arrivals Level. Please call 1-866-850-7874 to let Robert Q know you have arrived. An agent will direct you as to where to go to meet the bus. Passengers checking in within 15 minutes of departure risk being moved to the next available departure.
